Beyond the Plate: Dancers' Workshop

In the final edition of our Beyond the Plate miniblog series, we are rounding out the Fall 2018 off-season special beneficiary spotlight with Dancers’ Workshop.  This local nonprofit is a multifaceted organization that strives to enhance the community both through movement and education.

Dancers’ Workshop (DW) opens its arms to a variety of ages and interests through their diverse and inclusive programming.  Whether driven by the desire for creative exercise or improving upon existing dance skills, DW offers a selection of classes for participants of all skill levels.

But they offer more than community dance classes. DW is a professional dance company, putting on regular performances with dancers of all ages. They also reach beyond the valley to bring high caliber guest artists to Jackson Hole from other celebrated dance companies (like Hubbard Street Dance Chicago) to host workshops and be part of performances.

As the beneficiary of this week’s off-season fundraising effort, we are honored to support DW, a supportive haven for Jackson Hole’s creative expression.
