Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (JHMR) and Fine Dining Restaurant Group (FDRG) are proud to announce a partnership with the Jackson Hole community hosting Jackson Hole: From the Range, a day celebrating Jackson Hole’s thriving culinary culture at New York City’s celebrated James Beard House. Jackson Hole: From the Range brings the best in food and travel culture from the mountain mecca of Jackson Hole to the esteemed, invite-only Beard kitchen.
A media lunch hosted by JHMR and FDRG in conjunction with lodging partners, Amangani, Four Seasons Resort Jackson Hole, Hotel Jackson, Hotel Terra, Snake River Lodge and Spa, Spring Creek Ranch, Snow King Resort, The Wort Hotel, Teton Mountain Lodge as well as the Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce and Wyoming Office of Tourism, offers a chance for invited media to interact and learn more about upcoming winter stories and news. A subsequent evening dinner open to the public introduces Jackson Hole’s culinary talent to the New York community.
Several years in making under the vision of FDRG Co-Owner Gavin Fine, the October 2 event offers invited media and a food-focused public to an intimate escape to Jackson Hole. “It’s a great honor to have been invited to cook at the James Beard House. James Beard’s vision and treatment of food helped shape the way we look at food today. As chefs, sommeliers, restaurateurs, it’s an honor to have our names mentioned alongside his. Jackson Hole: From the Range will show how we, in Jackson Hole, are doing our part to contribute to the culinary world, while also paying tribute to James Beard’s legacy,” said Fine.
The iconic and historic James Beard House kitchen will host Founding Executive Chef and Co-Owner of FDRG, Chef Roger Freedman and JHMR’s Executive Chef Wes Hamilton. The two will blend their culinary talents to present a carefully curated menu, complete with wine and whiskey pairings. Utilizing exquisite ingredients sourced from the Jackson Hole region, the menu will showcase the many flavors of the area in the influential culinary space.
Jeff Golightly, Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce Director states, “This is a thrilling opportunity for Jackson Hole in the New York market. As we continue to increase our air service with non-stop flights from JFK and Newark, we are looking for creative ways to share our story, and Jackson Hole: From the Range will be a grand showing of our community talents and offerings.”
